For adults 18+ who have chronic pain and illness. Experience art therapy in a group setting to process, share, explore, witness, reflect, learn and develop coping skills.

Creative Stress Management - Monthly Workshops
Art-based workshops for adults 18+ to get creative and let off a little steam at the end of the week. Each session begins with a mindfulness exercise and check in, an art directive and supplies are provided, then you will have time to create and also to reflect at the end.

Mindfulness through Art Journaling and Altered Books - Monthly Workshop Series
Wind down creatively at the end of the week with a mindful art process. Learn about mindfulness, self-compassion and self-care through visual journaling and art-making. Develop valuable skills for self-awareness, self-reflection, coping and emotional regulation, and learn various art techniques. Advanced registration and brief intake required. Also available as individual sessions.

Open Studio Monthly Art & Creativity Workshop for Teens (After school)
After-school workshop and creativity development opportunity, offering a judgment-free safe space for teens to create, connect with other creatives, and art play. A variety of art materials and projects will be offered. Project examples include fluid/pour painting, clay and 3d sculpture, mask making, jewelry, macramé and beadwork, mosaic and collage, collaborative artworks, visual art journaling and altered books. Participants will have the choice of materials/projects and the freedom to create with the guidance and instruction of the art therapist. All art materials provided.
Open Studio Monthly Art & Creativity Workshop (Day time)
Same description as above, open to adults
Artist's Development & Creativity Incubator Workshops
Learn to release the inner critic/perfectionist and re-learn spontaneous art play and creation. Work through creativity blocks in a safe creative space. These workshops are an opportunity for expanding your art materials interests and for receiving art critiques and feedback for developing your artist identity. Art materials are provided, participants can bring their own if desired.
Summer Art-Based Field Trips
Art-based summer activities include nature art making and hiking day and a visit to the local art museum gallery exhibit and art studio experience. Transportation is not provided

This group is designed for adolescents who could benefit from having a healthy after-school activity, peer connection and personal growth opportunity. We'll use a variety of art materials to develop healthy identity, self esteem and empowerment, emotional expression and regulation, stress management and coping skills, creativity and individuality, communication and social skills, mindfulness, compassion, kindness and positivity. All art materials and snacks/drinks provided.
RACK Art Therapy Workshops for Middle School & High School students
Develop your Creativity and Compassion with a fun art activity that teaches more than just art.
Participants will learn about the Random Acts of Creative Kindness community art project, social action art, and the benefits of kindness. We will create our own RACK artworks and receive materials to continue making them at home. Art supplies and snacks/drinks provided.

Identity Development & Career Exploration through Art
Workshops for teens and young adults to explore their Future Self. Using art making, interest inventories and personality assessments to define strengths and passions, and to build a framework for the future. Also available for individuals.
